The Greatness of Christ, Hebrews 1:2-3

Christ Is the Owner of All this Is the Father’s (1:2)
...whom he hath appointed - 

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. Heb. 2:8

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Psalm 2:6-9

heir of all things - All things are delivered unto me of my Father...Matt. 11:27

Christ Is the Creator of Universe (1:2)by whom also he made the worlds; - (eternal, forever, perpetuity)

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Romans 11:36


Christ Is the Perfection of the Father’s Glory (1:3)
Who being the brightness of his glory - apaugasma thV doxhV - It can mean either reflected brightness, or effulgence (ray from an original source). John12:45; 14:9.

And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. John 12:45

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, shew us the Father. John 14:9

and the express image - carakthr - an engraved or engraving ("character"), a figure stamped, i.e. an exact copy

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Cor. 4:4

of his person - essence or substance of a person - I and the Father are one.

Christ Is the Sustainer of That Has Been Created (1:3)
and upholding all things by the word of his power - Pres Ptc

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matt. 28:18

Christ Alone Has Paid the Price for Our Sins (1:3)
when he had by himself purged our sins - Rom. 3:25

Christ Alone Is Seated at the Right Hand of the Father (1:3)
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; - John 17:5
