The Time For Making  A Decision

The Importance of Making a Decision - 13:22  And I beseech you, brethren,  - parakalw de umaV adelfoi - meaning to exhort, challenge to follow the admonition given in the epistle:

3:1 …consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus
3:13 …exhort…daily…lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
4:1 …Let us therefore fear
6:1 …let us go on unto perfection…
6:11 …shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end
6:12 …That ye be not slothful
7:4 …Now consider how great this man was
10:19 Have…boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus
10:24 …consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
10:35 you must never…cast away your confidence
11:1 we must obtain a good report living by faith
12:2   Look …unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith
12:3 …consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself
12:12 …lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees
12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
12:15 …look diligently to a right moral life
13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
13:5 …Let your conversation be without covetousness
13:9 … Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.

And …13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The Challenge to Make That Decision - suffer the word of exhortation: - anecesqe tou logou thV paraklhsewV - endure, hold one's self upright and firm to a special calling or admonition.  It means to chose to make a decision that will bring a time of refreshing and comfort.

12:1 …run with patience the race that is set before us
12:13  …make straight paths for your feet
12:25 …See that ye refuse not him that speaketh.

The Authority to Demand The Decision - for I have written a letter unto you in few words.  bracewn epesteila umin - it was the Apostle or writer of this epistle that that had the authority to command these areas of living and challenge the believers to walk in the power and presence of Christ.
